The MyDocuments folder should be correct, especially since its the one that opens when you click the locator from within rift. It sounds like you have most of the bases covered. I don't know why I have two separate Rift folders and it might be the reason why my addons aren't installing. I've also tried making an Interface/Addon folder in RIFT folder within my Steam folder (C/Program Files x86/Steam/steamapps/common/RIFT) and dropping addons into there, but no luck.
I'm dragging the addon files into the addon folder (My Documents/RIFT/Interface/Addons-this is the folder that opens when I click the open file locator button in the addon screen in-game) but they're not appearing in the addon screen in-game. I downloaded Rift through Steam and I'm trying to install addons.
